“Don’t let yourself be entertained”, Mbappé’s lawyer refuses to react to rape accusations from the Swedish press

Lawyer for Kylian Mbappé in his legal and contractual conflict with Saint-Germain over unpaid salaries and bonuses, Maître Delphine Verheyden did not wish to comment on the accusations of rape launched by the Swedish press against the French striker of Real Madrid at moment of his arrival at the LFP headquarters this Tuesday.

Each thing in its time, each matter after the other. Cited in a rape and sexual assault case by the Swedish press, Kylian Mbappé has another priority this Tuesday: his conflict with PSG. Questioned on the sidelines of her arrival at the headquarters of the LFP, the lawyer for the French striker recalled that the major point of her day was the hearing before the joint appeals committee of the body. No question for her to comment on a possible affair when she must manage the interests of her client vis-à-vis his former employer.

“I am here for the appeal committee for the decision of the legal committee,” said Maître Delphine Verheyden this Tuesday when journalists questioned her about the accusations coming from Sweden. “Today I will not hide from you that I am very focused. Moreover, I am delighted that so many of you are interested in this decision of the appeals commission.”

The Mbappé clan’s lawyer focused on the dispute with PSG

The Mbappé clan first seeks to assert its rights in its battle with PSG. Having left for Real Madrid during the off-season, Kylian Mbappé then demanded nearly 55 million euros from the Ile-de- club for unpaid wages and bonuses. If the 25-year-old striker considers himself in his right and refused any mediation, on the side of the Parisian management, we assure that the player’s contract had been modified by his various positions or promises before his departure to Spain.

And let it be said, before looking into the defense of Kylian Mbappé in the event of an extra-sporting matter in Sweden, Maître Delphine Verheyden intends to see the procedure against PSG through to the end. Especially since, according to the message posted by Kylian Mbappé on social networks, the elements published by the Scandinavian press came right on the eve of this hearing “as if by chance”. Enough to trigger the anger of the Ile-de-France club immediately.

And the lawyer concluded with a smile as she entered the LFP headquarters: “Thank you and see you later. The latest information is later because the commission hasn’t happened yet. Thank you and see you later, that’s the news of the day. Don’t let yourself be entertained.”
