L’autumn seems far away this Tuesday October 15, 2024 in Lyon.

The temperatures are well above normal seasonal, while sand dust from the Sahara is feared in the urban area. Here are the latest forecasts from Météo-.

This day of October 15 will be hottest of the weekwith 16°C announced by Météo-France in the morning, and a maximum of 26°C in the second part of the day.

A maximum which represents a difference of + 8°C compared to seasonal norms according to meteorologists.

An orange sky?

As for the sky, a few rare clouds should be visible in Lyon this Tuesday, and perhaps also some sand dust coming from the Sahara.

“Dust rises over a large southern half of France this Tuesday, October 15, 2024, brought by a flow from south to southeast pulling its origins in Africa“, explains meteorologist Guillaume Séchet.

Don’t wash your car right away, as showers could fall as early as Wednesday. Rains that could get dirty vehicles, windows or facades.

What happens next in the rain and storms?

For the days of Wednesday and Thursday, the Lyonnais should experience less clement weather despite still pleasant temperatures, around 24°C at best.
