20km of 2024: discover the results of the race at the finish at the foot of the Eiffel Tower

The 20km race was back this Sunday, October 13, 2024. Discover the results of this edition, on an exceptional route through the most beautiful monuments of Paris.

The Vredestein 20km from Paris was back in Paris ce Sunday October 13, 2024. Under a beautiful sun and pleasant temperatures for the month of October, more than 25,000 runners set off at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, for a beautiful race on the theme of the circus, for this 45th edition. Trocadéro, Arc de Triomphe, Grand Palais, Concorde, Palais du Louvre, the athletes of the day had the chance to pass by the most beautiful places in the capital!

The champion of the day was the Ethiopian Mekonen Hayimro Yele, who won the men’s race in the final sprint against the Frenchman Yann Schrub, who arrived just three seconds later. Among the women, it was the Frenchwoman Manon Trapp who took the lead in the race: a great French first place in just 1h04 and 44 seconds, the second best time in the history of the event!

The day before, the children were also able to run, thanks to the 20 Kids from Parisin support of the Petits Princes Association and this morning, from 9 a.m., amateur runners also took the start of this essential Parisian race. Congratulations to all the finishers of the day!
