This Saturday, October 12, 2024, the Star Academy has officially made its comeback to the delight of fans. The cult show is celebrating a new edition which will pay tribute to Grégory Lemarchal, former telecrochet candidate, who died of cystic fibrosis. And this year has been one of changes, particularly in the ranks of teachers, but also on the stage. Those who remain faithful to the position are Nikos Aliagas, in animation and Michaël Goldman in direction. For this first bonus for the class of 2024, the latter admitted to wanting to be surprised. And for that, nothing better than to stay away from the preparations… Which he did! “This is the first year that I know absolutely nothing about what’s going to happen tonight. It was a desire we had, so I’m starting from zero,” he confided.
Charles moves his father to tears
Then Marine, the first student to reveal herself this evening, entered the stage, followed by the duo composed of Ebony and Maylis. The godmother of telecrochet then made her entrance on stage. All smiles, Clara Luciani revealed that great voices are hidden in this promotion. This is how she introduced Charles, a young man of 18, originally from Brittany. “I’ve been doing horse riding since I was very little. It’s a passion that allows me to escape”he explained during the presentation of his profile. An activity that hides another: his love for music.
“I’ve been singing since I was little, but I’ve never taken singing lessons”admitted Charles. No one could have said it, because Charles has wonderful command of his vocal cords. During his performance on the set of the Star Academyhe performed brilliantly I’m going by Patrick Fiori and Florent Pagny. In the audience, his father, Gaël, was present. He did not hide his emotion and burst into tears when he saw his boy on stage.

“Your dad, your family supports you?” asked Nikos Aliagas at the end of Charles’ performance. “Yes, a lot,” he confirmed, before admitting that, when he expressed his desire to join telecrochet, his father told him to “go for it”. It was then that Gaël had the microphone to send a message to his son. “It’s such a terrible emotion, such a pleasure, he worked so hard for all of this and to see him today… Go for it, go for it, go for it!
