Eleven All Stars: broadcast, rules, stakes… Everything you need to know about the -Spain of streamers

The second edition of the clash between French and Spanish streamers organized by Amine is taking place in Madrid, this Saturday, October 12. Where to watch the match? What format? Here’s everything you need to know.

The Spaniards will try to take their revenge. French and Spanish content creators, internet stars, will play a football match this Saturday in the prestigious Metropolitano stadium of Atlético Madrid, after a first meeting in 2022 in which attracted 20,000 spectators to a stadium and more than a million live on the Twitch platform.

Organized by the French streamer AmineMaTue (2.8 million followers on Twitch), the first meeting won 2-0 by pitted French and Spanish content creators with millions of subscribers on social networks.

30,000 tickets sold

The Atlético Madrid stadium has a capacity of more than 70,000 seats. So far, some 30,000 have been sold.

“We’re looking forward to it,” said Spaniard DjMaRio, who has 9.6 million subscribers on his YouTube channel and is one of the organizers of Saturday’s match, during a press conference Friday evening .

What format?

Nothing to do with the King’s League organized by Gérard Piqué. The “Partidazo de Youtubers” are preparing to play a “real” football match with two 90-minute halves and eleven against eleven (see the composition of the French team below).

Please note, however, that changes are unlimited, unlike an official match. In the event of a tie after regulation time, the streamers will decide on penalties.

These matches are part of the trend of real competitions between internet celebrities, where millions of fans follow the games live on the web.

“I feel great,” said French streamer AmineMaTue. “It was something to come back and see this magnificent pitch, and I think that tomorrow with the supporters, it will be another story.”

Training with PSG players

The French team was recently received in Paris, as part of its preparation, by professional footballers from PSG.

The coach of the Spanish team is streamer Ibai, who has 17.1 million followers on Twitch.

When the virtual becomes part of the “real”

These physical competitions organized between content creators generate record audiences, well beyond just the world of “gaming”, like the GP Explorer.

This car race launched by Squeezie (19 million subscribers on YouTube), which saw around twenty content creators compete in Formula 4 cars on the circuit in September, recorded an audience record with a peak to more than 1.3 million people for its second edition.
