CAN 2025 (Q) – Ahmad Ngouyamsa () keeps an important clean sheet with Chad

The preliminary and qualifying matches for the CAN 2025 are in full swing this month of October and the Chadan outsider on whom few people would bet to participate in the real competition, played this Friday 11/10 at the Zambia to try to surprise the bookmakers. Despite the relative domination of their opponents, the Sao were able to keep the score goalless (0-0) to bring home a point from this trip and open up some possibilities.

While Lionel Mpasi did not start yesterday afternoon with the Leopards of the Democratic Republic of Congo, the defender Ahmad Ngouyamsa (player of Rodez) was in Kevin Nicaise’s starting lineup for this match and played the entire match, keeping clean sheets despite taking twelve shots. The Chad – Zambia return match, which will perhaps be decisive for qualification for the next round, will take place next Tuesday, October 15.
