“The Hymn to Love”, sung by Céline Dion at the Olympics, finally available!

It was one of the highlights of the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games, on July 26: Celine Dion resumed “Hymn to Love”by Edith Piaf, from the Eiffel Tower. Two and a half months later, the title is finally available since midnight on Thursday, October 10! The opportunity to relive this magical moment, suspended in time, which closed the ceremony. The performance also marked the return of Céline Dion, who had been away from the stage for years due to illness.

The anniversary of Piaf’s death

The date of October 10 to unveil this cover was not chosen at random. This Thursday marks the 61stth anniversary of the death of Edith Piaf, who died in 1963 at the age of 47.
