Downpours will fall in Nantes. This Wednesday October 9, 2024, Storm Kirk must affect the West of France and in particular the city of Jules Verne. The equivalent of a month of rain is expected to fall in the city of the Dukes of Brittany.
Due to the weather conditions and as a preventive measure, the City of Nantes has taken the decision to close all parks and enclosed gardens.

“Depending on the inventory which will be carried out by the City services on Thursday October 10, the parks and enclosed gardens will be able to gradually reopen,” specifies the municipality in a press release.
During this period, the City of Nantes recommends staying away from trees and not
not take shelter under vegetation and postpone non-essential outdoor activities.
