Antoine Dupont’s secrets about his dad, who died last year.

Antoine Dupont spoke at length. If he talked about rugby and his recent exploits, more personal subjects were also discussed, the scrum half, for the first time, mentioned the death of his father.

After admitting that he did not have a girlfriend, the Toulouse man was questioned about his family. Extract :

– “Yes, I feel very good. I am very close to my family and obviously to my mother too. As they are not far from Toulouse I can see them often and that is important for me”
– “And with your dad?”.
“My dad died last year. He had taken a wrong turn, he had been in a vegetative state for eight years already. He was sick, he was in a center where he was not very well” confided the number 9 and captain of the France team.
