PMU – Arrival of the quinté on Saturday October 5 at ParisLongchamp: winner with Blue Brother, Ronan Thomas is off to a good start to his weekend

Arrival of the quinté: 13 – 9 – 15 – 18 – 2

While he will be in the saddle on one of the main favorites for the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, Ronan Thomas started his weekend perfectly by winning today’s event. In the saddle on Blue Brother (n° 13), he got out of his n° 14 perfectly in the starting stalls and thus gave his partner a tailor-made course. Offset mid-straight, the 3-year-old male (like Vega’s look !) accelerated perfectly and won his second consecutive quint despite 4.5 kg of penalty. “I was delighted to ride him because I saw him as having a first chance,” confided the last winner of the Prix du Jockey-Club. Those around him have given him time since his last success in view of this race, which was a goal. It’s really great! »

Despite a good end to the race too, Climate Change (n° 9) came up against the tenacity of his rival but confirms that he should, sooner or later, win such an event. At a distance from the first two, the outsiders Mustard (No. 18) and Divine Chrisnat (No. 15) finished third and fourth respectively. Despite 59 kg to carry, We Ride The World (No. 2) completes the good combination of a quinté that no punter has managed to find in order.
