Diego Lopes sees a fight oriented on striking and a favorite fighter in this register.

Charles Oliveira, for his part, was surprised by the announcement of the fight but agrees with the opinion of his compatriot.
“I’m not taking anything away from anyone and I don’t think ‘Poatan’ is a superhero. But I think ‘Poatan’ has a good chance of knocking out any attacker who fights him. He is simply too calm, too precise, too relaxed to strike at the right time. I think this is another person he will knock out to defend this belt. It’s difficult for an attacker to knock out ‘Poatan’ because he is too calm and too relaxed. He waits for the right moment to attack – and when he hits, his hands hit hard. »
Diego Lopes will be the back-up of the Ilia Topuria vs. Max Holloway fight at UFC 307 on October 25. Charles Oliveira is training for a rematch against Michael Chandler at UFC 309 on November 16 in New York.
