Olympique de SCO (1-1): Full notes [Ligue 1 – 7ème j.]

Man of the Match: Rowe (7.5): Only 6 minutes in the game and already a goal for the whirlwind English game changer. He quickly turns around in the area and scores in the opposite net. Then he continued his efforts and was close to scoring another goal. The only truly dangerous player in the second half.

Olympique de Marseille (4-2-3-1):

Roll (6): A superb first half with a calmness exuded in each situation. On the opponent’s equalizer in the 54th minute, he relaxed well on the free kick but was too short, and the shot was too precise.

Garcia (6): A good match from the Swiss, who is gradually finding his place in the group. He knew how to defend correctly, and he crossed a few times. Replaced by brassiere.

Cornelius (6.5): He is rightly stealing the starting spot from Brassier. Rigorous and focused this evening. Replaced by Rabiot.

Balerdi (6.5): The Argentine boss is the important element of this central defense. Serious and imperturbable.

Murillo (6): A solid match from the Panamanian who was rigorous and fulfilled his role well. Replaced by Hari.

Kondogbia (5.5): Replaced as a central hinge at the hour mark, he came back strongly and took advantage of his teammates’ injuries to continue the matches.

Hojbjerg (6.5): The former Spurs advises his teammates throughout the match and is precise in his transmissions.

Henrique (4): He started the season superbly, but little by little, he is performing less and less and will certainly not start the next match. Replaced by Place.

Carbon (4.5): After a rather average first half, and a yellow card received at the end of the period, the Argentinian was replaced upon returning from the locker room by Rowe (7.5): See above.

Greenwood (6): Dangerous on his right wing, the Marseille number 10 continues his good momentum. In the second half it was more difficult to make a difference, however.

Maupay (not rated): The former player derailed De Zerbi’s plans by being sent off in the 30th minute of play after accumulating a yellow card.

SCO (4-2-3-1):

Breathing (6): Great first half with some great saves. Subsequently he could not do anything about the Marseille opener, as the shot was so close and powerful.

Hanin (6): A decent match and a great collective expression. In addition, he cleared a few balls. Replaced by Economics.

Lefort (7): The Angevin hinge was solid throughout the match and did not let himself get carried away in his duels.

Biumla (6.5): He too was valiant in this match and did not flinch.

Raoliosa (not noted): Difficult to rate his match, since he received a red card half an hour into the game (26th), after the VAR examined him for a serious foul.

Belkebla (6): A correct match, serious and precise in its transmissions.

Follow (5.5): The former player had little possession of the ball but participated in the collective effort.

El Melali (7.5): He proved useful during counter-attacks by negotiating them as best he could. He plants a magnificent free kick while flirting with the opposing post, only 3 minutes after opening the score (54th). The handyman from Angers in this meeting. Replaced by Belkhdim.

Abdelli (7): The Angevin captain is a major element of his team. He fired some great shots towards the opposing goal, like the one in the 33rd minute, and often made the right choices.

Ferhat (not rated): An encouraging and promising first half but unfortunately he was injured in added time of the first period. Replaced by Arc (4.5): Who showed little in this meeting, but made himself available.

Niane (4.5): He struggled to control and carry the balls his teammates passed to him. He is partly guilty of Marseille’s opening score because he loses the ball in front of his own area. It was complicated for him to expose himself but he made an effort. Replaced by Allevinah.
