PMU – Arrival of the quinté on Thursday October 3 in Compiègne: King David crowned

Arrival of the quinté : 5 – 16 – 14 – 11 – 2

Jumpers were in the spotlight this Thursday at the Compiègne racecourse and it was the Prix de , a big handicap contested over hurdles which served as support for the pay-per-view bets.

From the first meters of the race, two horses broke away: Hill of Bamboo (n°12), followed closely by King David (No. 5). If the first city was unable to restart under the various attacks at the start of the straight line, the second took the opportunity to take the best and start again before definitively making the difference after the jump of the final difficulty. Trained by Mickaël Seror, the son of Bathyrhon takes the opportunity to offer a 69th victory this year to his partner Clément Lefebvre, who consolidates his position as leader in the jumping Golden Crop ranking.

Always seen behind the first two, Concert (n°16) seemed dominated between the last two hurdles before giving a good push to come back and snatch the first runner-up at the expense of Happy Harry (n°14), another asset of Mickaël Seror, who thus places his two students in the winning trifecta. Constantly seen in fifth or sixth position, Dream Messanger (n°11) completes the good combination of the quinté in front Blues (n°2), which is ahead of the favorite, Gurzuf (n°6).
