Hakimi’s PSG against Arsenal, Bayer and Adli to defeat AC Milan… program for this Tuesday

All eyes will be on Achraf Hakimi’s Saint-Germain this Tuesday, October 1, during the 2nd day of the Champions League, while the clash between AC Milan and Amine Adli’s Bayer Leverkusen is also expected by the supporters.

After a good start to the championship, Achraf Hakimi’s PSG is ready to take on the challenge of going the furthest in the competition by facing Arsenal. The Parisian club also snatched a victory at the end of the match against Girona (1-0) during the first day of the group stage of the Champions League.

The Arsenal Gunners, for their part, have already played an important game this season against Manchester City, being caught at the last minute (2-2). However, they failed to win against Atalanta Bergamo (0-0) when they entered the competition in C1.

PSG coach Luis Enrique has made the decision to do without Ousmane Dembélé after a dispute with the player. PSG will therefore rely more on the left side of Bradley Barcola, who regained his effectiveness with a double against (3-1).

The state of form is more contrasted at Amine Adli’s Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan. After a somewhat slow start to the season, the Leverkusen team, led by Xabi Alonso, is picking up speed. Last weekend, they held Bayern Munich to a draw (1-1) and especially crushed Feyenoord in Rotterdam (4-0) on the first day of the group stage.

The Rossoneri, for their part, started their campaign badly at San Siro with a defeat against Liverpool (3-1), but recovered by winning the Madonnina derby against Inter (2-1).

For their part, Inter Milan welcome Red Star Belgrade in one of three duels between former winners of the competition this day.

Borussia Dortmund, finalist last year and winner in 1997, hosts Celtic Glasgow, champion in 1967. The Scots currently occupy second place in the standings after their crushing victory against Slovan Bratislava (5-1).

The Slovak club, which won the Cup Winners’ Cup in 1969 but has not reached the round of 16 of a European competition since, welcomes Manchester City, who drew against Inter (0-0).
