Pink October – Let’s fight against breast cancer

Today begins the “Pink October” campaign to fight against breast cancer. The FFME encourages all women to be screened for this disease which affects one in eight women. We invite you all to make a donation to the Ruban Rose association.

For many years, and since it has been recognized that sport can be both a physical and psychological activity against certain illnesses, including breast cancer, the FFME has made sport-health one of its concerns.

For the third consecutive year, the Grégam Vertical club is organizing on October 26, the solidarity open Grimpe en Rose as part of this month in the fight against breast cancer. The competition takes place at Grand Champ (56) and is open to U16s up to veterans.

On the program:

  • Twenty mixed qualification routes
  • Crazy final routes
  • And lots of other surprises!

It’s time to show your talent and determination. Whether you are licensed or not, this competition is for YOU! Sign up!

All profits from this day will be donated to the “Faire face ensemble” association, an association for patients and caregivers.

Next week, we will share the action that the Sainte club, Le Cracq Jeunes Escalade is also putting in place to fight against breast cancer.

If you would like to share the actions carried out within your clubs, you can contact us.
