After a promising start to the campaign, Brest can string together a second victory in a row on the European scene, against a prestigious but weakened opponent. A tantalizing duel between David and Goliath, it promises sparks on the pitch of the Red Bull Arena.
Salzburg must bounce back
Supported by the Red Bull franchise, Salzburg continues its development season after season. After a complicated start, including this heavy defeat against Sparta Prague on the first day of the Champions League (3-0), the Austrian club raised its head.
He remains on two consecutive victories in the league without conceding a goal (0-4 and 2-0) and approaches this match with more confidence. With two assists and five goals since the start of the season, Oscar Gloukh will be the man to watch on the Brest side, just like the two players trained at Liverpool, Stefan Bajčetić and Bobby Clark.
