TV audiences. TF1 returns to 2 after the Games ????

Studies. After two months of supremacy for 2 this summer 2024 thanks to the broadcast of the Olympic and Paralympic Games from , TF1 regained first place in TV audiences in September 2024, according to Médiamétrie data published Monday September 30, 2024. With 19 .4% audience share, TF1 achieves “the strongest growth” in one month (+2.5 points compared to August) and positions itself as “a very large leader across all audiences”, rejoices the group in a press release.

For its part, France 2, with 15.4% audience share, returned to a level comparable to that prior to the summer and the Paris 2024 Games. The public group’s channel had achieved an average audience share of 14.6 % over the first six months of the year before soaring to 21.6% during the two summer months: 19.5% in July, also thanks to the Tour de France cycling, and 23.3% in August . This month, TF1 signed, with 16.9% audience share, its worst result over a month since the appearance of Médiamétrie!

The L’Equipe Channel, left behind this summer, with an average Pda of 1.1%, returns in September 2024 to its average audience levels with a Pda of 1.2%. However, it is 0.4 points below its September 2023 score. The Amaury group’s sports channel had a very good first half of 2024 with an average Pda of 1.6% (With AFP)
