At Beaujoire, Nantes conceded the draw against Saint-Étienne (2-2) after leading 2-0 and hitting the post. In Angers, Stade de Reims made short work of SCO (3-1).
After the rout at Nice during the previous day (8-0), Saint-Étienne was in Nantes for a buyout operation. But after 10 minutes, Johann Lepenant opened the scoring for the Canaries.

Stade de Reims was once again able to count on its Japanese pair Keito Nakamura-Junya Ito to take it to Angers. From the 9th minute, Cédric Kipré offered a delicious ball to Nakamura who was happy to open the scoring.
