Pink October: mobilization in

What is Pink October?

Every year, the month of October is dedicated to breast cancer awareness and prevention through the national campaign Pink October. Launched in 1985 in the United States, this campaign is today an international event which aims to inform the general public about the importance of early detection of breast cancer. The symbol of this mobilization is the famous pink ribbonwhich has become a universal sign of the fight against this disease. Beyond prevention, Pink October also emphasizes solidarity with patients and fundraising to support research.
