This weekend took place the 4th round of the Coupe de France. An important first step for the Gard clubs still in the running, synonymous with obtaining the Cesame represented by the official jersey of the competition. For this 4th round, the objectives were diverse depending on the clubs: FC Bagnols-Pont aimed to qualify on the pitch of Toulouse Bagatelle (District 2), Olympique d’Ales in Cévennes wanted to test themselves against Aigues-Mortes which the Alésiens face again in the championship next weekend and EMAF Les Angles, qualified for the 4th round for the second consecutive year, aimed to have fun facing the bulk of this draw, the National 2 club, the AS Cannes.
A defeat with honors for the Angles:
In an almost full Pagès stadium, the Angles club wanted to put on a good show and why not disrupt the game plan of AS Cannes, a N2 club, contending for promotion to the next level.
