Football, Coupe de : disillusionment for and Trélissac, Étoile Boulazacoise still sparkles

The Boulazacois logically continue their journey, without conceding a goal and without taking a card.

Winner 0-5 in Haute-, Boulazac will logically be present in the 5th round, on October 12 and 13. Not the BPFC nor the TFC, although 16th finalist last season but surprised by teams of lower levels. The poor performance is especially notable for the Trélissacois, beaten 3-2 by a Charente Regional 3 team.

PAmong the five Dordogne clubs which played on Saturday evening, Boulazac is, with Sarlat-Marcillac, the only one to have qualified. It must be said that fate had been kind to them, offering them as an opponent a Departmental 2 team from the Haute-Vienne district.

And Saint-Priest-Taurion did not last three minutes before conceding a first goal, signed Pape Sene who offered himself three more before the hour mark. Avetik Davtian then came to conclude the quiet evening of the BSE, which returns, moreover, without cardboard.

The long sobs of the TFC because of Verlaine

Very different scenario for the Trélissacois. Widely favored at the base, since superior in three divisions, Valentin Dumont’s men fell to everyone’s surprise in La Rochefoucauld on Saturday evening.

Coming with a little changed team, they nevertheless quickly took the lead, taking advantage of a deflection from Barraud into his own net (0-1, 5th). But far from being defeated, the locals by Desvaux, served behind the Périgord defense before lobbing Charrieras (1-1, 15th).

Jimmy Burgho thought he had won the penalty shootout but the Trélissacois conceded a fatal third goal.

Two minutes before the break, Charrieras poorly negotiated a goal clearance, offering an indirect free kick to the Charentais six meters from his cages. Verlaine, offset by Desvaux, pierced the opposing wall (2-1, 43rd).

And if TFC pushed, it was only five minutes from time that Burgho equalized with a header from the penalty spot, receiving a free kick. We are heading towards a penalty shootout but the Charentais, in added time, qualified, thanks to a header from Petit on a tense cross from Verlaine. For Trélissac-Antonne, the violins of autumn are out.
