AS Saint-Etienne will not leave Nantes with another historic defeat in their bag. A week after the scathing setback suffered in Nice (8-0), the Forézien club even left Beaujoire with a point (its first draw of the season) this weekend. The result is in reality as valuable as it is happy as the Greens were regularly pushed around on the banks of the Erdre, in addition to being very rarely dangerous offensively.
Faced with Nantes in slow motion before this day (2-1 defeat against Reims, 1-1 draw at Angers), Dall’Oglio’s players therefore suffered a lot, particularly in the first period, also showing themselves to be approximate in their interventions.
