FOOTBALL COUPE DE It works for Alès and Beaucaire, but no feat for Les Angles.

For the fourth round of the French Cup, Olympique d’Alès (N3) won at Aigues-Mortes (N3) 3-0, Beaucaire (N3) did the same at Vauvert (R1) 3 -0 and Les Angles (R2) could not do anything against (N2) 0-3.

In a meeting that looked like a championship match, Alès won against the Saliniers of Aigues-Mortes (0-3) this Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. A clash that the Oacians generally dominated, thanks to a calm game with little technical waste and by putting rhythm on the side with its two rockets Ekra and Kubota, who made his return to the starting eleven. It only took a few minutes for the OAC to take the advantage. Very well launched in depth, Kubota easily deceives Cassara with a devastating flat foot. Calm, without throwing the ball, the Alesiens played their football, creating a few scares with a Baana Jaba often well placed and sidekicks on the side who did not balk at the calls and withdrawals. The OAC doubles the lead thanks precisely to its number 9. Kubota sees his shot repelled by Cassara, who cannot catch the ball. Ekra takes the opportunity to serve Baana Jaba in the axis, who does not need to be asked and sends a big shot under the bar. The score will not change until halftime.

Upon returning from the locker room, the game became a little more balanced and the Saliniers managed to worry a little more the cage of Maamouch, starting for the match as against Calvisson in the previous round. The goalkeeper was able to express himself a little on his line, stopping a penalty caused around ten minutes before the end of regulation time. Coming into play, just like Diarra, Fari and Fahrasmane, Hamek scored the third goal with a magnificent free kick into the top corner, just like against Calvisson in the previous round. By continuing their series of victories in all competitions (4), coach Malek’s men are gaining even more confidence, with this “return match” next weekend, still away, still against Aigues-Mortes

FC Vauvert (R1)-Beaucaire (N3) 0-3

There were no surprises at Radelyevitch Stadium. Stade Beaucairois FC enforced the hierarchy, but the score was a bit heavy for the Vauverdois who were not unworthy. Between the leader of R1 and the 11th of N3, we could hope for a closer match. But the difference was made in realism in front of the goals. In this area, the Beaucairois were almost faultless. Vauvert tried a lot with strikes from Chiki (12th), Bensaid (27th) and Saoudi (36th), but without success. Conversely, Beaucairois Bouraja only needed one opportunity to take a ball at the far post and open the score (0-1, 36th). The SBFC striker doubled the lead, from the penalty spot, in added time of the first period (0-2, 45th). From then on, the visitors were content to manage the score by controlling, without much difficulty, Vauvert’s offensives. At the end of the match, Beaucaire hit the nail on the head with a counter-attack concluded by kuange-Makala (0-3, 83rd).

EMAF Les Angles lost 0-3 against AS Cannes The feat will not have taken place this Sunday, September 29 at the Roger-Pagès stadium, but the English can emerge from this Coupe de match with their heads held high. France against Cannes playing three levels above, serious and diligent throughout the game. AS Cannes opened the scoring as the quarter-hour mark approached. The N2 residents led 0-1 for a long time at the break. Hopes were quickly dashed in the second half with a second goal scored in the 48th minute by the Cannes right-back, who victoriously headed a ball from a corner. Finally, AS Cannes folded the match by scoring a third goal thanks to their number 7, very twirling and impactful during this 4th round of the Coupe de France, which could have achieved a double without a saving two-step save of the goalkeeper. The journey ends here for the R2 players, who will keep this match in the back of their minds, before diving back into the championship together. “We can’t score by attacking with 2 players. We were quickly cooled by the second goal scored quickly. Now there is the championship and that is the most important thing,” coach Issam Rahmouni reacted hotly after the match.
