The Italian Jannik Sinner, seeded n°1, dismissed the lucky Russian loser Roman Safiullin (3-6, 6-2, 6-3) and reached the quarter-finals of the Beijing tournament on Saturday night session, at the Olympic Green Tennis Center in Beijing.
Sinner, 1st in the ATP rankings, will face Jiri Lehecka in the quarter-finals of the Beijing tournament.
The Italian won against the Chilean Nicolas Jarry (4-6, 6-3, 6-1), before his victory against Safiullin, ranked 69th in the ATP, on Saturday.
The Russian tennis player eliminated Swiss wild card Stan Wawrinka (6-3, 6-4).
