The 2025 season of Formula 1 is already underway, and Ferrari, with its driver duo Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, is gearing up for an exciting year. After a first outing for Hamilton at Fioranowork on SF-23 is continuing apace to ensure that the Scuderia arrives in fine form for the first tests of the season. Here are the dates to mark on your calendar before the first Australian Grand Prix.
1. Tests in Barcelona – End of January
January began on an emotional note for Ferrari. In Fiorano, the two drivers took the wheel of the SF-23 for a first preparation session. Lewis Hamilton, who made his debut at the wheel of the Ferrari, described the moment as “one of the happiest of my life”, although he was quick to add that there was still a lot of work to be done to adapt to the Scuderia. For his part, Charles Leclerc, more at ease with Ferrari’s systems, continued his training program.
The Barcelona tests will start on January 27. The two drivers, Leclerc and Hamilton, will take turns on the track to maximize the 1,000 km allowed by the regulations. These tests will be crucial in preparing the necessary adjustments prior to more extensive testing in Bahrain, with the new F1 SF-25.
2. Pirelli tests – February 4 and 5
According to Autoracer, before focusing on the car of 2025, Ferrari to take part in a major Pirelli test session on February 4 and 5 at the Montmelo circuit. These tests will enable the 2026 generation tires to be tested. Hamilton will have the opportunity to drive the SF-24 for the first time, a car specially adapted for these tests, with experimental tires that will have a narrower diameter at the front and rear axles.
3. Presentation of the “almost” Ferrari SF-25 – February 18
After testing in Spain, Scuderia Ferrari will head for London for the big presentation of the 2025 car on February 18. On this occasion, fans will be able to discover the SF-25 livery, but on an SF-24. This will be a landmark presentation, although the real car will not be officially revealed until the following day, on February 19, during an online presentation.

As is now tradition, Ferrari to hold SF-25 shakedown in Fiorano on February 19. Today will be an opportunity for Leclerc and Hamilton to get to grips with the new SF-25 car, before the major tests in Bahrain. It will also be an important opportunity to fine-tune the final details before the big race.
5. Official tests in Bahrain – Feb 26 to 28riar
The first official tests of the season will take place in Bahrainfrom February 26 to 28. Ferrari will be putting all its energy into maximizing the SF-25’s potential before the season kicks off in Australia. These three days will be decisive for fine-tuning the car’s performance and fine-tuning the final details, with the aim of being as ready as possible for the first Grand Prix of the season, in Melbourne on March 16.
