Rare in the media in recent years, Dorothée finds the small screen this Friday for a tribute evening on TF1. She confides, for the occasion on the rest of her career.
Almost 30 years after stopping the Club DorothéeDorothée is back on the small screen. The ex-host will be honored for a special program called Thank you Dorothée!broadcast this Friday, January 24 on TF1.
If Frédérique Hoschedé, his real name, has been very rare in the media in recent years, she affirms to the newspaper Le Parisien that “the doors are not closed” to relaunch her career after this program.
“If I like it, I go. If I don't like it, I give up,” she said, adding that she has no “favorite sector”. “I would like something with pep, in animation, cinema or TV.”
“You invite me, I am able to say yes”
Dorothée had a brief career at the cinema in the late 1970s. In 1979, François Truffaut had entrusted him with one of his first roles in his film L'Amour on the run. We also saw him in Pile or Face by Robert Enrico, with Philippe Noiret and Michel Serrault. More recently, in 2018, she also appeared in the film Nicky Larson and the scent of Cupid by Philippe Lacheau.
If she confides to the 20 -minute newspaper that she would like to “return to a few films”, Dorothée specifies however that the proposals she received until then “were not entirely adapted” to her desires.
The ex -host, who also released more than 20 albums, sold more than 20 million records and completed 59 concerts in Bercy – a record for a female artist – also hopes to return. “The opportunity may still be represented. I don't know,” she said in an interview with AFP. She will unveil this Friday a new song entitled I have in my memories.
-Finally, on the television side, Dorothée does not close the door either to a possible recurring return on the small screen: “Before, when I was invited, we knew that I would not come. Now, it is: 'CAUTION! Invite me, I am able to say yes', “she said during an appointment with the press.
Especially since the former host, who defines herself as “Téléphage”, keeps an attentive eye on all the new programs and shows that are emerging. “I like series, reports. I look at a lot of documentaries, political programs and those who approach crimes,” she explains to the Parisian.
Presence of alumni of the “club do”
Hosted by Nikos Aliagas, the program Thank you Dorothée!will retrace the years Club Do and their cocktail of sketches, songs, charitable operations, mainly Japanese cartoons as Dragon Ball and rose water series (Hélène and the boys, First kisses…) produced by AB, the group founded by Jean-Luc Azoulay and Claude Berda.
Jacky and Patrick Simpson-Jones who, alongside Ariane Carletti and François Corbier now died, accompanied Dorothée to the presentation. They answered present, just like Bernard Minet, member of the group Les Musclés and singer of cult generics, or many figures of sitcoms.
There will be other celebrities (Nolwenn Leroy, Amir …) who came to show him their affection, in particular by interpreting some of his hits.
