Segovia
The tragic accident occurred after a van with four occupants and a car collided at kilometer 49 of the CL-605 highway, in Montuenga, within the municipality of Codorniz. 112 notified the Civil Guard (Traffic) of Segovia and Ávila and the emergency coordination center (CUU) of Health Emergencies – Sacyl, of this accident, from which a mobile ICU, a basic life support ambulance and Primary Care health personnel at the Arévalo health center.
At the scene of the accident, Sacyl health personnel confirmed the death of the injured woman, who was 74 years old and was caring for the other three injured people, a 49-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman who were transferred to the mobile ICU. Health Emergencies to the Medina del Campo hospital (Valladolid), and an 84-year-old man evacuated by basic life support ambulance to the Ávila hospital.
