Jaipur: After a quiet spell, rainfall is expected to resume Wednesday across Bikaner, Jaipur, and Bharatpur divisions of the state. Despite several locations experiencing increased temperatures, meteorological authorities indicate that cold conditions will revive in the state from Thursday.
On Tuesday, most areas recorded higher temperatures, bringing temporary relief to residents. Fatehpur remained the coldest in the state, where a minimum temperature of 5.2° Celsius was recorded.
Attributing the rise in temperatures to the active upper air cyclonic circulation, the Met office said, on Wednesday, some places in the Bikaner, Jaipur, and Bharatpur divisions of the state are likely to witness a partially cloudy sky and thunderstorms. Mild showers are expected in the evening in and around Jaipur, Dausa, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Bharatpur, Alwar, Bikaner, and Sriganganagar districts of the state.
People in Jaipur woke up to a comparatively warmer morning when a minimum temperature of 13.7° Celsius was recorded. It was followed by a bright sunny afternoon when a maximum temperature of 26.4° Celsius, almost 3.8°C above the normal notch, was recorded. On Wednesday, there is a possibility of mild showers in and around Jaipur in the evening.
