The decor is austere and black. In the background, mobile archive cabinets, black like the table on the garden side which serves as a desk, furnished with a lamp and a microphone. Also black is the coffee table on the garden side, on which are placed a small radio, a box, and a champagne flute. Below the files, perhaps those that Simone Veil does not wish to see forgotten in the archives of history. Also dark is his eternal periwinkle suit, under which a blouse with multicolored touches peeks out, like a glimmer of hope emerging from the shadows.
