The General Authority of Meteorology issued a weather advisory regarding the weather conditions and phenomena expected during the next 48 hours on Sunday 19 and Monday 20 January 2025.
Meteorology said that water mist is expected to form, which may be dense at times, in the morning on some agricultural and highway roads near bodies of water, leading to reduced horizontal visibility.
The authority added that there is maritime navigation disturbance in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Suez, and the Gulf of Aqaba, and the wind speed is (60:40 km/h) and the waves are high (2:3.5 metres).
The Authority called for taking the necessary preparations and measures to reduce the effects resulting from expected weather phenomena.
