Inter-Empoli 0-0 on the pitch for the 21st match of the Serie A championship
THE LIVE
THE EVE AT INTER HOME
Picking up your head straight away after the 2-2 draw against Bologna. This is the mission of Inter, who host Empoli tomorrow at San Siro in the evening half-time match with the aim of returning to winning the three points, after the stop against the rossoblu in Wednesday’s injury time, to continue racing in the upper areas of the ranking. Points that are starting to become heavy, also because for the Nerazzurri they are challenges that come in the midst of a real tour de force. In fact, the calendar includes five matches for Simone Inzaghi’s men in the next 14 days, all important matches for Lautaro Martinez and his teammates’ journey between Serie A and the last two days of the first phase of the Champions League. After Empoli, the Nerazzurri will face Sparta Prague and Lecce away, before returning to San Siro to close the first half of the European season at the Meazza against Monaco. Then it will be the derby against Milan at the home of the Rossoneri cousins, in what could be a rematch not only of the defeat in the Super Cup but also of the one in the first leg of the derby. All while waiting to understand when the recovery of the match against Fiorentina will be set, suspended last December 1st at the Franchi stadium after 17 minutes due to Bove’s illness: the most probable dates are February 5th or 12th, curiously around the time of the match back against the same Viola at San Siro.
