Raja seems to be a strong candidate to resolve its confrontation with its guest, but it hopes for a gift from its compatriot, the Royal Army, by defeating Sun Downs in the latter’s home.
-After earning one point in its first three matches, Raja (the defending champion 3 times) won four times in its last two matches, and its hopes revived.
Raja needs a goal advantage over Mamelodi if they are equal on points, and in the two direct confrontations (they exchanged wins 1-0).
Raja is counting on the importance of facing Sun Downs for its compatriot, the Royal Army, who qualified for the quarter-finals for the first time since 1988, in order to guarantee the lead.
