Start of the second half of the season: Maier starts in Bremen

Onyeka is missing due to suspension

At the end of the English week, FC Augsburg will play away for the second time in a row: In Bremen (live from 5.30 p.m. in the live ticker in the FCA app), head coach Jess Thorup changes his first eleven in one position.

After the away win on Wednesday evening at Union Berlin (2-0), Jess Thorup has to replace the suspended Frank Onyeka in the Weserstadion. Arne Maier will replace him in the starting line-up on the 18th Bundesliga matchday.

Fredrik Jensen is back in the squad after recovering from a cold. Maximilian Bauer also takes a seat on the bench after his concussion in the home game against Stuttgart (0-1). Robert Gumny (muscular problems) and Keven Schlotterbeck (hamstring injury) are still not available.
