A body was recovered this Sunday, January 19 at Trou à l'homme, at the foot of the cliff in Etretat. The body was seen during the rising tide. A nautical team was hired to recover it.

-Seine-Maritime firefighters intervened around 11 a.m. this morning in Etretat, at Trou à L'homme, where a floating body had been spotted during the rising tide. A nautical team was hired to recover the body, an operation secured thanks to surveillance by the Dragon 76 helicopter.
Seven firefighters responded to the area.
The Man's Hole is known to be a place where many walkers get trapped during the rising tide.
The identity of the person and the cause of death are unknown at this time.
The gendarmerie is responsible for the intervention. The recovered body was left at the disposal of the gendarmerie.
