As Special Envoy of the President of the Republic, Mr. Saihi received by the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo

The Minister of Health, Mr. Abdelhak Saihi was received, yesterday Tuesday in Kinshasa, by the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Mr. Felix Tshisekedi, as part of the visit he is making in his capacity Special Envoy of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, said a press release from the ministry on Wednesday.

On this occasion, the minister delivered a written message from the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to his brother the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo “in an approach which reflects the common political will to deepen cooperation ties between the two countries to the best of common interests and to strengthen the strategic partnership in the face of regional and international challenges,” according to the same source.

During this meeting, which took place in the presence of the Algerian ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Minister of Health transmitted “fraternal greetings” from the President of the Republic to his Congolese counterpart .

In turn, the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo welcomed “the pioneering role of Algeria on the African scene, as part of its commitment to strengthening solidarity between the countries of the continent and supporting development processes, of peace and independence of peoples.

In this regard, Mr. Saihi underlined “the need to strengthen common efforts to raise cooperation between the two brotherly countries to the level of their aspirations and the quality of their relations”.
