Ahmed Al-Awadi supports Yasmine Abdel Aziz at her father’s funeral

Actress Yasmine Abdel Aziz carried her father’s body to his final resting place amidst her tears and collapse in a touching scene.

A number of artists were keen to support Yasmine at her father’s funeral, led by her ex-husband, the artist Ahmed Al-Awadi, as he was keen to stand beside her to receive the body, as well as to pray over him in the Al-Mushir Mosque in the assembly.

Yasmine Abdel Aziz received condolences for her late father, in front of the graves, after he was buried, and her brother Wael Abdel Aziz also stood beside her, and a number of her family and friends.

The funeral was attended by artist Mustafa Qamar, screenwriter Amr Mahmoud Yassin, and a group of art stars who were keen to offer their condolences.

Yasmine Abdel Aziz had surprised the audience and her colleagues in the artistic community by announcing the cancellation of her father’s funeral a few hours after announcing its date, as she had announced that the funeral would be held tomorrow, Monday, at the Police Mosque in Sheikh Zayed, to surprise everyone by announcing the cancellation of the funeral without mentioning any reasons for this cancellation.

Yasmine had announced the news of her father’s death via her Instagram and Facebook accounts yesterday (Saturday), where she wrote: “He passed away, may God have mercy on him. My father lives in God.”

She announced that the funeral prayer for her father, Muhammad Abdel Aziz, will be held after the noon prayer today (Sunday) at Al-Musheer Mosque in the Fifth Settlement, with the condolence being held tomorrow, Monday, after the Maghrib prayer at the Police Mosque in Sheikh Zayed City. However, she suddenly canceled the funeral, declaring that it would be sufficient to receive condolences for Cemeteries.
