Before this trip to Bauer, the coach hoped to see his players get off to a better start than in recent weeks. It was missed since Bingourou Kamara was obliged to work from the start to repel Benali's cross strike (4e). Stifled by Grégory Poirier's men, the Palois barely saw the light of day during the first 20 minutes.

Bingourou Kamara still in demand

But the Béarnais awakening was brutal for the Red Star. At the end of a beautiful collective movement, Boutaïb saw Risser push back his attempt on Mille who was not asking for so much to open the score in the empty goal (0-1, 20th). The Red Star then largely regained the upper hand but Hachem (28e34e) and Durand (29e) could not find the frame. Kamara, on the other hand, was obliged to pull out all the stops against Dembi (31e). If Beusnard, with an acrobatic recovery, came close to making the break (40e), the Audoniens quite logically equalized just before the break. Durand, in a doubtful position at the far post, headed in a cross from Durivaux (1-1, 43rd).
