The 20e edition of Beijing Express “The Route of the Legendary Tribes” was launched this Thursday, January 16. After landing on the lands of Tanzania, the candidates had no time to rest. They had to repack their suitcases – unpacked by production – and fit an inflatable mattress into them, before undertaking a 4 km trek, luggage in hand, on a stony path.
The first difficulty
A first ordeal which put a strain on the father-daughter duo from Champagney in Haute-Saône, Lionel and Eva Hennequin. Especially for Lionel. Operated for cancer a few months before his participation, he is exhausted. Under the encouragement of his daughter, he does not give up. The pair arrives at the end of this first difficulty.
The second game saw the appearance of the black flag, which they largely avoided. After a frantic race, the Francs-Comtois finished this first stage in fourth place. They avoid the final duel. A non-eliminatory stage, which allows all candidates to still be in the race.
