After the numerous revelations of sexual violence committed by Abbé Pierre, this Thursday, January 16, Special Envoy is broadcasting a report based on the testimonies collected from the victims.

It all started in July 2024 when the Emmaüs association unveiled an investigation report on the icon that is Abbé Pierre. Seven women accuse him of sexist and sexual violence for acts allegedly committed between 1970 and 2005.

As of today, and particularly after the nine new accusations revealed by a specialized firm commissioned by the management of Emmaus, the accusations implicating the religious rise to thirty-three.

To try to understand how the latter was able to commit such acts with complete impunity, Élise Lucet's Special Envoy team went to meet alleged victims. “Policy of silence”

This is perhaps information that has gone a little more unnoticed.
