Washington Capitals vs Ottawa Senators
Start Time – 7:00 PM EAST
The lone storyline in the Washington Capitals world this season was supposed to be Alex Ovechkin’s pursuit of the NHL record for career goals. And while the sniper has lived up to his reputation, netting 20 goals already, leaving him 22 behind Wayne Gretzky’s career mark, the Capitals are improbably one of the best teams in the league this season as well.
I expect them to keep it going tomorrow on the road in Ottawa. They are the better team in this matchup and are deadly away from home this season. Washington on the moneyline is the first half of my parlay.
The second half of my parlay is under 5.5 goals for the game’s total. Washington has the second most goals in the league this season, but they also allow the fourth least. And Ottawa has a fairly anemic offense.
