The General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) forecasts cold weather with temperatures varying from -8 to 9°C, from Wednesday to Friday. Snowfall is also expected at heights above 1400 m, from Friday to Saturday, in several provinces of Morocco, leading to an “orange” alert level.
Minimum temperatures are expected to be between -8 and -2°C, while maximums will range from 0 to 6°C in regions such as Ifrane, Boulemane and Sefrou. Other provinces like Jerada and Taourirt will have minimum temperatures between -4 and 1°C and maximums between 3 and 9°C.
Additionally, snowfall of 15 to 30 cm is expected in provinces like Al Hoceima, Guercif and Midelt between Friday and Saturday.
