The sanctions risked by Mehdi Benatia and Olivier Létang after OM-Lille
Bad habit of French football, the round of 16 of the Coupe de France between OM and Lille (1-1, 3-4 in the tabs) ended in confusion. Two of the protagonists of this rise in tension are Mehdi Benatia, the football director of the Marseille club, and Olivier Létang, the president of LOSC. The first received a red card from Clément Turpin, the referee of the match, for having vehemently criticized the fourth referee that a penalty had not been whistled in favor of the Marseillais, then trailing 1-0, on a contentious action – a version strongly contested by the club.
