In December 2021, Brigitte Macron was first suspected of having been born under the name Jean-Michel Trogneux and to actually be a transgender woman. If the rumor had finally calmed down in France, it was without counting on Candace Owens, a 35-year-old political commentator and loyal supporter of Donald Trump. In March 2024, she took up the subject and supported the idea that Brigitte Macron was indeed a man. In August, the New Yorker relaunched the debate by sharing photos of the First Lady in a swimsuit during her private vacation with President Macron. “Brigitte Macron enjoying her summer with her friends. Spot what doesn’t belong to her”she then shared on X (formerly Twitter) in a big implication. On January 10, 2025, Candace Owens reiterated by assuring have additional information – through a French journalist – about this so-called transidentity.
“I am exposing what I consider to be the truth,” assures Candace Owens about Brigitte Macron
“It is neither a joke nor an exaggeration to say that, with the exception of political assassinations, this is probably the greatest political scandal in human history,” wrote Candace Owens a few months ago. Scandalized at the idea that the wife of the President of the French Republic could be transgender, the Trumpist is doing everything possible for his theory to be proven. Last June, as reported The Parisianshe indicated that French journalists were already investigating “the theory according to which Brigitte Macron was possibly born a man”. An assertion which would then have earned him a letter from lawyers representing the Macron couple across the Atlantic. The mail would denounce “a disinformation campaign” damaging to “the integrity and credibility of the President and Madame Macron”.
In a video posted on her YouTube channel on January 10, 2025, Candace Owens assured that this letter would “change the trajectory of [son] year”. Confident in herself, she even assures that she will exhibit, within a few weeks, “the evidence” of “hidden trans identity” by Brigitte Macron. Information visibly unearthed thanks to “a French journalist”whose name she does not mention. Determined to make her theory a certainty, the commentator claims to be “exposing this [qu’elle] considers to be the truth.”
