Karine Baste presents a new daily magazine dedicated to Overseas Territories

The new magazine “C pas si loin” arrives on 5 from January 13 from Monday to Friday at 4:55 p.m. – also to follow on the Réseau des 1 channelsera. The 26-minute daily aims in particular to create bridges between overseas and France. It also aims to better understand and decipher these French territories which seem so distant, but whose impact on the entire nation and abroad is not negligible.

Presented by Karine Baste, It's not that far offers us an immersion in the heart of overseas territories, whose environmental, economic, strategic and cultural challenges must be taken into consideration.
With It's not that far – a name reminiscent of that of the chain’s other flagship magazines, C in the air, C to you, C tonight… –, through the reports, we will discover innovative local initiatives, but also meet great people. Every day, from these overseas territories, Karine Bastereceives duplex guests who bring their expertise with, in support, maps and encrypted data. Once a week, on Friday, the journalist welcomes a major witness (researcher, politician, sociologist, etc.) on set from for an overview of the subjects covered over the past week.
This new magazine is part of “the pact for the visibility of Overseas Territories” signed in 2019 by France Télévisions. It's not that far tells and provides a unique perspective on this France of three oceans.
Come on, it's not that far away, we're expecting lots of you!
