Temperatures in Côte-d’Or will continue to drop, Météo reports. The mercury will drop to -7 degrees locally.

As a result, significant widespread frosts are forecast by Météo France.

Great vigilance in wooded areas

With such temperatures, slippery phenomena could form due to refreezing of the roads.

Météo France urges motorists to exercise extreme caution, specifically in wooded areas in the north of the department, as well as in wetlands.

The RD 12 in Chivres is still cut

Furthermore, the RD 12 in Chivres, in the south-east of the Côte-d’Or, is still cut off due to recent rainfall which caused flooding.

The department remains placed on yellow flood alert.
