Yellow weather warnings have been in place in north Wales throughout this week as the Met Office warned of snow, ice and freezing temperatures.
Schools have been closed in both Flintshire and Wrexham and roads have been badly affected.
Yesterday, the Leader spoke to Flintshire Council about how its staff has been coping with the workload of keeping people safe.
Now, Wrexham Council has also revealed how its stock of gritting salt is looking after a heavy week of snow and ice.

Darren Williams, the council’s chief officer for environment said: “We monitor salt levels carefully locally and also we collaborate and share intelligence on salt levels with Welsh Government and our partners in the Trunk Road Agency.
“We were fully stocked to our planned salt levels at the start of the Winter Maintenance season and profiling our usage up to now this year aligns with what we have forecast.
“We will continue to monitor stocks as part of our work but have no immediate cause for concern.”
Wrexham Council says it has been ‘undertaking non-stop gritting on Priority One routes to ensure these remain navigable’.
It added: “Our Priority One gritting routes will ensure main roads, roads to school and bus routes remain as clear as practical and gritting will now commence around the clock on these routes for at least the next few days.”
