“It’s dead, it’s over”: these valuable pieces of advice that Arnaud Tsamère gives to Star Academy candidates

On January 7, 2025, the students of the Star Academy had the chance to benefit from a masterclass from Arnaud Tsamère. A few days before the semi-final of season 12, the comedian gave them valuable advice for the future and shared his vision of an artistic career.

The end of the season is approaching and tensions are palpable among the candidates. This Saturday, January 11, the first semi-finalist will finally be revealed. Charles will have the opportunity to sing a duet with Noah, his partner in the adventure, during the next prime. The following week, it will be the turn of Ebony and Franck to compete for their place in the final.

This Tuesday, January 7, Arnaud Tsamère had the opportunity to go to the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys alongside Hugues Hamelyncks. And yes, the comedian is a fan of the Star Academy and despite his busy schedule, he devotes time to the TF1 talent show. “At the moment, I'm at the theater (…) and on Saturday evening, we come home around midnight, midnight and a half and I watch the prime of the Star Academy and above all I watch all the daily newspapers before going to the theater in my bath“. In this context, Arnaud Tsamère wanted to deliver them an important message.

“It’s dead, it’s over”: Arnaud Tsamère gives valuable advice to academics

The comedian, who confided on the set of Daily diligently following the show, encouraged the students to focus on the present moment. “I just try to live the present moment in an intense, passionate way and that's the only way this crazy job brings you the most beautiful surprises, by doing it with carefreeness, but above all honesty. That's- that is, involvement and pleasure and passion in the present moment. That’s what I keep telling the kids I meet.”he explained.

He insisted on the importance of involvement and passion in this profession, stressing that students should not be motivated by materialistic goals. “If you start saying 'I want to do this job because I want to sign autographs, earn a lot of money, even if it's to buy your parents a house, and I want to be recognized in the street, it's dead, it's over”he added, under the attentive gaze of the candidates.

An answer from Ebony on career goals

If Arnaud Tsamère's advice had an impact on the students, Ebony spoke to qualify his remarks. Hugues Hamelynck, their theater teacher, asked the class if everyone understood the comedian's message and if they agreed with him. Ebony expressed another vision of things. “I somewhat agree with this way of life, but I know that I projected myself a lot into my dreams. I always set myself goals and they always came true. You have to visualize what you wants to have”replied Ebony. Who, among the students, will be able to follow the comedian's advice and concentrate on the present moment while remaining faithful to their passion for music and entertainment? The answer will emerge from January 11.
