Tragedy at work in Calabria: a 38 year old worker, his name is Francesco Stella, died in an accident in Lamezia Terme. The accident occurred in the industrial area of San Pietro Lametino and is the first fatal accident of the new year in Calabria and in the entire country.
The man, according to an initial reconstruction of the incident, is fell from scaffolding in a profile company in the industrial area of the Calabrian city. Unfortunately, there was nothing that could be done for him: the attempts of the 118 health personnel who intervened on site were in vain. The thirty-eight-year-old, as far as we know, was at a height of around six meters when, for reasons still under investigation, he fell fell hitting his head.
Police officers, the coroner and the magistrate on duty attended the scene of the accident. Ispesl inspectors are also on site to verify the conditions relating to safety at work.
