SIX months ago, Sam Thompson was pictured on the street in tears amid apparent ‘crisis talks with Zara’.
The Made In Chelsea alum was comforted by Strictly Come Dancing star and best pal, Pete Wicks.
After dating for five years, it was revealed that Sam, 32, and Zara McDermott, 28, had called time on their relationship.
After spending Christmas apart, it was confirmed the duo split up after ‘a tough year’.
However, reports circulated that the relationship could have been on the rocks for up to half a year.
Back in July, The I’m A Celebrity winner was seen in floods of tears on the street outside of London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.

Images appeared to show Sam crying as his best pal launched into a sweet and comforting embrace outside of the TRIC Awards ceremony.
The TV presenter attempted to address the news on his Staying Relevant podcast after the images sparked a flurry of speculation.
He stated: “I wasn’t crying, I wasn’t actually crying. I just want to let everyone know that now.”
Sam explained that he ‘received some bad news‘ at the time, without stating the details surrounding the mysterious incident.
“There’s no way of getting around it, I had actually received some bad news, so I actually was really sad.
“I’m not going to lie about it, but I was.”

He continued: “I let it go, I let it all out. I am head butting Pete’s shoulder.
“I am caressed into his armpit and he is being such a good mate saying ‘I am always there for you blah, blah, blah,’ and I am feeling very sorry for myself.”
However, it was reported that his emotional outburst was caused by a ‘blazing row’ with his girlfriend.
It was reported at the time that she packed up her belongings and left their shared London abode.
But after rumours about their romance surfaced, they were later spotted out and about filming together.
