Today, Sunday, the General Directorate of Meteorology expects snow to fall on the peaks of the Middle High Atlas, whose height exceeds 1,500 metres.
It is also expected to record rain and showers accompanied by strong winds in the Atlas Highlands and neighboring areas, the phosphate and diamond plateaus, the northern and central plains, and the southeastern foothills.
The weather is also expected to be relatively cool to cold with “jariha” and cold during the night and morning in the Middle and High Atlas highlands, the countryside, the southeastern foothills, the eastern region, and the interior plains.
The sky will be cloudy at times, with possible rain in the western frontier and the countryside.
Masses of fog and low clouds are also expected to form on the Atlantic coast.
It will be noted that grains of sand are scattered in the desert regions. With somewhat strong wind gusts recorded in the Tangier region and the southern regions.
Minimum temperatures will range between minus 3 and 03 degrees in the Atlas, the eastern slopes, the Rif and the eastern high plateaus, and between 12 and 14 degrees in the Tangier regions, the central plains of the Atlantic Ocean, and the southernmost regions, and will be between 04 and 10 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom.
As for temperatures during the day, they will drop somewhat.
The sea will be moderate to rough on the Mediterranean front and the Bugas, as well as along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean
